FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL

Our Family DTS at YWAM Tyler is a unique expression of our Classic DTS and Crossroads DTS with an emphasis on discipleship for the entire family.

During your DTS, parents will combine with either the Classic or Crossroads DTS for lectures, intercession, and worship. Meanwhile, your school age children will be learning about the same lecture topics in the Family Sync School. (Click Link to check it out)

So what do the kids learn? Intercession and worship; God’s heart for the nations; their part to play in the Great Commission -- all while learning to hear and obey God’s voice!

Also, at various times throughout the week, your family will have the opportunity to worship together, have family devotionals, engage in interactive intercession together, etc.

Every Friday is set aside as Family Focused Fridays. Parents and children will spend the whole day together processing the week’s topics during small group time, learning the family perspective on the week’s teaching, strengthening your family with team-building activities and serving together through local mission opportunities.

Our goal is not only to synchronize the parent’s and children’s DTS experience but also to prepare each family member for a lifetime of service to the Kingdom of God.

The Outreach Phase of DTS is a mission trip for your family, putting into practice all the things your family learned in lecture phase. Outreaches are unique to each school and the location(s) will be determined after your arrival to DTS.
