Is God Sounding an Alarm in 2020?

IS GOD SOUNDING AN ALARM IN 2020?

I have never experienced a true fire alarm, only fire drills. While dining in a restaurant, the alarm unexpectedly blared. Everyone shot to their feet. The manager came and assured everyone it was a false alarm.

This happened again and again. Eventually, we sat eating while the soft music played, and the alarm blasted intermittently all evening. The irony struck and I finally took a video...

In 2001, Americans were alarmed on 9/11, when terrorists flew planes into buildings in New York City and Washington DC. It was the 1st time America was attacked on home soil. In 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit, instead of people rescuing the weak and vulnerable and helping each other, people of the Gulf Shores looted stores, broke into homes, stole property and threatened people. Horrifying.

I could sense an alarm ringing, “America is falling morally. America's cities are not well.” Instead of heeding the alarm, we sat back down to dinner as if oblivious to the peril surrounding us.

Now, lawlessness, dishonor of innocent people and destruction of America's history is hitting an all-time high score. Can you hear the alarm going off?

If we do not take action and this anarchy continues, the only path will be external control by the government telling us what to believe, what to say, and what to do.

America's moral compass does seem broken, but there's hope!

November 21, 2020 is the 400th anniversary of the signing of the Mayflower Compact. This compact was a covenant made to God and to each other to live for God and take His glory to the ends of the earth.

On this day, we as Americans have a chance to re-align ourselves, our families and communities to the past covenants made to God.

I'll be online watching and agreeing to rededicate our country to the Lord. I hope you will too.
