A Miracle On The National Mall

Worship and Prayer Brought a Real Miracle from God

Almost a year ago, I was on my School of Evangelism (SOE) outreach. Our team was at David's Tent, a ministry hosting worship 24/7 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. where I led an hour-long worship set.

At first, I felt led to take some time to welcome the Holy Spirit and invite Him to do what He wanted. Then, I just really felt like the Lord wanted us to worship Him as the Bridegroom for a while.

The Lord was giving me the words to say, and it was a sweet moment.

Pretty quickly, I noticed a woman in front with tears streaming down her face as she worshipped. I felt like the Lord was showing me that He was ministering directly to her more than anyone else during that time, and He started giving me songs to sing about identity as the bride and beloved of Jesus.

The woman wept and worshipped for the entire rest of the set, almost an hour.

When I finished, I immediately heard the Lord tell me to go and talk to her. I walked over, and it was like she was waiting for me to come.

We went outside the tent, and she hugged me for a solid five minutes, just crying. She explained that she was a minister traveling all over the country. She said the Lord ministered to her during worship and asked me, "You know in the Bible where the woman washed Jesus' feet with her hair? During worship, I felt like the Lord was doing that with me!"

She said the Lord revealed parts of her heart that she had no idea were closed off to Him. He invited her to open up to Him fully as the bride.

As I prayed for her, I felt the Lord say "healing," so I asked if she needed healing for anything. She said she had a lot of pain in her hip. I asked if I could pray for her to be healed. She said. "Yes."

When I prayed, she was instantly healed!

She told me she felt everything pop back into place. The day before, she was given a prophetic word about dancing with the Lord, something He wanted to do with her. She couldn't dance because of her hip. Now she could! She continued crying and thanking me.

We have remained in contact since then. She continues to be free from hip pain. It was so powerful to see the Lord work and heal her in her heart and physical body at the same time!
