Can you imagine God sending someone from another country to see you? While in Thailand, Jess Reminger encounters a man named Danny, who was seen and noticed by God. This testimony gives us a glimpse into how present God is in creation.
"My team and I were engaged in evangelism one evening at the night market. It was our last time of ministry, and I was at the end of myself. I was feeling sick, and my body was extremely exhausted⏤most likely from being constantly on the go for an entire month. Nevertheless, I wanted to push through one last time in Thailand and not miss what God had for me! I have found that God uses me in powerful ways whenever I am persistent and rely on His strength and wisdom.
My group and I started a conversation with a man named Danny. He grew up in Thailand and was Buddhist because his family claimed to be. Thailand is 98% Buddhist and only 1% Christian, so Christians are difficult to come by in this city. Despite those odds, God is after Danny’s heart. He has TWO Christians next to his workplace, speaking into his life every day. Then God brought me and my group to him.
As we were praying over him, God gave me a mental picture of Danny skateboarding and wiping out, hurting himself. God led me to share with him that God saw his wipeout and was there with him in that moment. So I asked Danny If he had ever skateboarded before. I had not seen any skateboarders in Thailand. He said "Yes," and then showed me the scar he got from wiping out. Seeing the scar truly amazed me! I shared the picture God gave me with him. I believe the God who created the universe knows us deeply and intimately and is after his heart! Danny was shocked, and I walked away trusting God had marked his heart that day.”
The book of Psalms reminds us, “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Have there been moments in your life where you doubted God was present? Be confident! God is chasing after your heart today! Let this story be an encouragement in your relationship with Him. His promises are true, and He is with you all the days of your life and desires nothing more than to love and be loved by you.
